For Sale!

I've got some new postings up on Etsy.

Bees Needles!

I haven't sewed in a while, but hope to get back to it soon. My machine is in the basement and with the crazy snowfall we've been having down here in Georgia, it's too cold to go down there!

With the snow days we've been having, I was playing with my Cricut yesterday and made the absolute best thing ever! It's so awesome! It is a "family tree" with little birds in the branches representing our family! This was so much fun to do and so versatile for any family, that I posted it to sell. If you would like one, please let me know!

Happy New Year!

I know I promosed to post my first project with my new toy. Sorry it took so long! I didn't have much time after Christmas because we went out of town and then directly back to work - boo.

I sat down with it this weekend and after several tries (and much ripped paper), I finally got a project done that is "decor worthy".

I am slowly starting to redecorate several rooms in my house. I know my master bath will eventually be blue and brown with a sort of Jules Verne "Around the World in 80 Days" feel. I did this framed art because I wanted a personal touch in our bathroom and I simply LOVE the colors.

I took an old 11 x 14 frame and cut a nice piece of wrapping paper to fit. I found the wrapping paper on clearance and it was just begging to be purchased! I then took a piece of 8 1/2 x 11 card stock and centered it on the wrapping paper so the paper would be a border. Using my Cricut and the Storybook cartridge, I cut our monogram in "Fancy" style using dark brown cardstock.

I think it turned out quite well and I can't wait to finish my bathroom around this little simple touch!
